Important Alert for Los Angeles and the Pacific Rim

Dear Readers of Abundanthope. It is looking highly possible that Mother is not going to wait on the LA area, and it may well go into the sea sometime this month. I need all of you to circulate this about on other forums and to those you know who could be affected. The following is for readers NOT familiar with AbundantHope.

Hello dear readers not familiar with AbundantHope. I am the creator of this Organization and it is an international team in service of the Second Coming Process.

The Los Angeles basin is NOT over land. It is over ocean. This area is sitting on a “shelf.” The danger in this is that the area, as you well know, is a massive area of faults and also there is huge cavern system under this basin. The United States government knows about it, and the Navy back in the 1970’s explored these by submarine and actually covered this in a small magazine that is not available on the Internet.

This area is going to go into the sea, and it will be catastrophic for the entire pacific rim, from the resultant Tsunami’s and other earthquakes that will manifest from this. It is possible some other quakes will manifest first, setting up this event. The LA area is simply going to crumble. It will fall approximately 100 feet.

The area involved is bounded directly on the north side of LA, along the Raymond Fault line on over to the San Andreas fault, which forms the western boundary. The southern boundary is across the Baja, approximately at the Colorado River outlet.

Now there is a solution to this, do not shut up this piece and refuse to read it at this point.The reason is that you in the affected areas are going to be evacuated by Star Fleet, all of you who choose to do so. It is your personal choice and there will be no force.

Some of you have heard of Ashtar Command. This is a large command with the specialty of evacuating people from a planet in big trouble. This is always done in the case of impending pole reversal or impending nuclear catastrophe. Neither is going to occur in this situation. The poles are not going to reverse and star fleet for a few years now disables every single nuclear bomb that black ops tries to use, everywhere of the planet.

What you are looking at is a regional rather than a planetary evacuation. The government of the USA was approached strongly years ago, that this would be impending and they must begin preparations. All they did was dig nice little holes for themselves to survive the changes, caring not at all about the rest of us. Did you know both China and Russia can house their entire populations underground in case of catastrophic problems? They are the only countries that have done so, for the people. Many others have built facilities for the elite.

Ashtar Command came in the 1950’s after the planet was stabilized to prevent a pole reversal by other ships which came for that purpose after WW2. Those of you familiar with Revelations have read about the Holy City, the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven. Dear ones, that is the Ashtar Command, command ship!!!!! It was known way back then of this possibility, and the Roman church knows that. And we aren’t going to build a “new heaven and a new earth”, because a new heaven is NOT needed, the “old one” is just fine. We will build a heavenly condition upon this new earth.

The New Jerusalem is huge, so it doesn’t land. It has aboard it, in a massive computer system, the soul records of every single souled being on this planet, and it can find you from these records. It’s “commander” is Ashtar, a very old and experienced being. His large team is highly skilled in totally serving the needs of people that are evacuated, and although only the necessary of people along the pacific rim will be evacuated, this command is capable of evacuating every ensouled person on this planet in 15 minutes time, in the case of a nuclear holocaust. Nuclear detonation harms soul matrix.

Now, lets get to the details. Once the geophysicists of the command have determined this event is imminent, it will begin the evacuation of the LA area first. Imminent will mean about 2-3 days before it will occur. You will be evacuated via small shuttle craft up to around 200-300 feet in diameter. Only a few of these might actually land. They will hover over the areas to be evacuated about 20 – 100 feet in the air. We will hope to have media assistance in this, but it is highly unlikely. There will be great numbers of craft and obviously this will occur in the daytime.

Each craft will put down a beam of visible light, and you board the craft by stepping into the light. You will rise into the craft much more comfortably than an elevator ride. I know. I have done it. There will be ones in great fear of this because of the horrible alien stories on this planet. Assist them as you can, but dear ones, if they refuse, you must go ahead yourself. Evacuations are never complete for this reason. Some people will not board craft, even under better circumstances and preparation. It does no good to pick them against their will, and God doesn’t do that in these situations. These ones will die of their fear, and this just causes more fear.

You do not pack anything. You maybe allowed to take pets, and you will know on this. There is planned quite adequate time, unless something is unforeseen. After you are evacuated perhaps the media will agree to cover it for the others. We do not know if there will be cooperation. Star fleet has everything you need. After the shuttle craft picks you up, you will be taken to a large mother ship or evacuation craft. The largest of these crafts for evacuation purposes are 8000 MILES long and carry millions of people. One of these larger craft can handle all the people in the LA basin if necessary, as an example.

Once aboard your evacuation craft or mother ship, there are a great deal of highly trained “social workers” and medical personnel. Some of you will be ill from the experience of the light beam. Which brings me a memory of another issue. I have talked about ascension syndrome. Your bodies, in preparation for this, have been subjected to special energy beams, both through the sun, from mother ships and in concert with your guardian angels to prepare your bodies for this beam.

The illness, should you have it is quite temporary and much like a nasty case of the flu. And star fleet has so much better treatment for this than earth doctors. The ships have a higher energy vibration than the earth, but the earth’s energy has been raised to help prepare people for the additional coming changes. This preparation is the source of many of your symptoms and that includes ear tones, the occasional nausea and aches, pains and fatigue. Those people suffering extreme fear will be put in a special sleep state, until everything is under control, so they don’t generate chaos. Those of you with intact emotions will be asked to assist.

Again, do not pack, you need bring nothing. There is Not time for this. You will be completely provided for and dear ones, the food is going to be a lot better for your health. In a way, you will be spending time in a health spa!!!!! And the bathrooms are very fine, no flushing toilets and waste. Your waste is instantly “evaporated” after it leaves your body. After everything is calm and stable you will be united with any family members should you have became separated. Do not worry if you are working in a tall building, there are plans for evacuation of those.

This MAY not manifest this month, but it is going to manifest and it is highly likely it well in the next few weeks. Since many of you may not aware of my website, there is another plan in place. Jupiter is going to become our new second small sun, all part of the ascension process. This will be dramatic, and before it does, the earth is going to be put into a state called stasis, which is sort of like pausing the button on the DVD player.

There will be some movement of earths axis during this time and there will be significant destruction and too much for man to handle. We tried a preparation plan for that but again, the governments of the world only thought about themselves. It was hoped that LA would wait until this time of stasis and Jupiter, but Mother Earth seems to not be waiting. There is still some large scale details being worked out, and if Mother Earth is not going to wait, this will actually be a huge learning for the planet, and assist people to understand what happened when we come out of the stasis. The stasis period will last for months and it is not the purpose of this piece to detail that at this time. This piece is for you, on the Pacific Rim.

Now, after LA is evacuated, the process moves to the rest of the western coasts of North and South America that will be affected by tsunami. Dear ones, board the craft, because tsunami’s will be up to 1000 feet high, possibly even more. You are not going to survive this, except through this evacuation. Then the evacuation will continue on to the islands at risk in the Pacific Ocean and then on to the Asian rim, the areas covered based on the expected results of the wave action. You in LA must be evacuated before the ground begins to give way. It was already planned to evacuate you during stasis, and then sink LA so this would not rear it’s ugly head after the awakening of the planet, should the Jupiter event have not sunk it. This is a GIFT dear ones, please take of it.

Now there are many options once you are aboard. Many of you will be offered the opportunity to migrate to other planets with open willing arms to receive you. Some of you may return to the surface, after the stasis, not before, and could live with relatives, or occupy the underground areas. You will never return back home, as the destruction will be beyond repair, and LA will not rise back up from the sea. It may very well be possible to return back somewhat inland after the damage. But you will spend months on ship if you are to return to the planet. This must come after stasis is over, and the surface is ready for your return.

In the case of total planetary destruction, every one goes to other planets. Space travel is quite rapid. There are ships with capability to reach the closest star in Pleiades in 10 short minutes. Go back and review what you learned from the Star Trek films. Dear ones, in Nebadon our universe alone, there are 3.8 million planets with life evolving in various stages on them, and many are much older than planet earth and marvelous places to dwell. ]

Before I began my incarnations here in service 400 years ago, I spent time readjusting to planetary life, having lived on the architectural spheres of “heaven.” Urantia Book readers, you know what I mean by that!!!! I spent some time on a wonderful planet called Myrua, an 8th dimensional world and very advanced in light and life. This planet encircles the sun called Merope of the Seven Sisters, and during the stasis I will go back for a brief homecoming.

You have nothing to fear, and a great adventure ahead!!!!! In fact, once aboard, some of you are going to have some old soul memories come back, and will remember of this. All physical people travel the universe in star ships and so do most angels, dear ones. And you will meet angels aboard ship, these are master caretakers. They do not however have “wings”. The craft picking you up are Pleiadian craft and all will have human body type staff upon them. But note, this is Not the only body type in the universe!!!!

Only a few very advanced spirits can travel without a ship of some sort. There are some that can manufacture their own ship by mind alone if needed. There are folks in our skies who will manifest a ship, if you need to see a ship. But the vast majority travel by ship.

I ask that all of you circulate this, even at the risk of laughter or put downs. Please place this alert on other boards you may belong too. In doing so, you will hopefully increase the number of people who will choose to board the craft. Even if rejected now, when the time comes, they are going to remember seeing it.

Please go out on a clear night and find those “stars” with the pretty flashing strobe lights! They have been in our skies for more than 50 years but few have noticed them.

If Mother does not cause this outcome in the next few weeks, once the preparations are fully ready for the stasis and the Jupiter event, you will find yourself aboard ship anyway, as you would be evacuated during your “sleep state” of stasis. The final determination of all of this regards the timing ,rests with the decision of Christ Michael, Creator Son and thus God of Nebadon, who visited this planet 2000 years ago. I am writing this on his commission tonight.

Looking to meet some nice guy

I live in the Roseburg area and looked all over for some gay companionship. Found this just last night. I would really like to visit the Wolf Creek Faerie camp. But would like to hook up with someone familiar with it. I prefer other gay men as I love to kiss, make out and be romantic. Bis are fine with me as well but if a married gay prefer to be the guys and insist the wife is good with it. Better if she likes watching.

I am still uncertain what to expect. Faerie has an appeal as well. I would like to be in touch with my feminine side and very much be a faerie.

On the spiritual side, I am also interested. I studied mainly the ancient religions of the Middle East, some Celtic, Roman, Greek and Native as well. Nature worship just makes more sense. I have just not linked to people to introduce me to it.

And just in case caretakers at the Faerie camp might be interested. It wasn't on your list of needed items, but I have a 24 foot travel trailer I would be interested in donating. However, it has been sitting in storage almost 4 years. Everything was working at that time. Nice kitchen with eye level oven. Also when I visit I will donate a computer monitor. If you are interested I also have the remains of a Dell Dimension computer. The computer itself is fried but the other boards are fine. I can include a Hughes Internet Dish and Modem for satellite high speed. The remains of two laptops. The memory the best part of those. Even have a pair of 8X55 binoculars and case I saw on the wanted item list. Oh, and if someone will invite me there, I have a home garden.I have loads of zuchinni, tomatoes just getting ripe. So, I can bring enough there to feed a good 15 people or more.

I'm still having trouble reviewing and navagating the site so I don't have the number to call and schedule an arrival or anything.

I know much there is ecology based. Please don't hate me for what I drive. It's a 1990Lincoln Town Car, but I get 26.4 MPG out of it. Better than my neighbors get with Toyotas and Hondas. I am a hypermiler. If I find myself in a construction zone where I can get away with 50 or 55 my mileage has been known to be as high as 32 or 33 MPG.

Lastly, what nature driven or pagan festival can be without home brewing. I brew both ales and lagers. I have brewed wine as well as well as meade. Actually the beers I brew are semi meade as I prefer using honey rather than the typical boosters or cane or beet sugar. But hey, it is tradition that women did the brewing. So, I relegate myself to stoking the fire, maybe some stiring, maybe the heavy lifting while the women take charge. There is another appeal for pagan type religions. Women are powerful. With the Greeks and Norse and Germanic religions. Gaea began creation.

hi all...

i'll be driving from santa cruz to wolf creek on july 18 for witchcamp, and leaving oregon to head back to SF/SC on august 3 or 4 after the permaculture skill share. i would love to fit as many people as possible in my car, both ways, and hopefully share the cost of gas. i can stop anywhere along the route to pick you up, especially if you live in the bay area, and have lots of room in my car for camping gear, etc. let me know if you're interested.

8th Annual Shaman's Gathering.... THE CALL

The 8th annual Queer Shamanism Gathering will be held between August 15th-24th, 2008 @ Zuni Mountain Sanctuary in northwestern New Mexico.

The Stewards of the sanctuary are putting out a call for energy assistance in this endeavor.

This years proposed and requested possibilities include -- Storytelling, Heart Sharing; Sweat Lodge; Positive Tea; Playback Theater; Acoustical Music Circle, Divination Studies, Desert Walkabouts / Visionquesting ; Massage, Energy Balancing, Claycrafting; Desert astronomy; entheogen discussion; body/energy playgroup; BDSM workshop, desert spirit rain dance; Morning/Evening Yoga; Incense Making; Herb Wildcrafting; Poetry ReadingRants, permaculture and various happening and on-going infrastructure projects.

A Know-Your-Talent Show Multi-Media Arts Exhibit is planned for the Wednesdays (in the middle of the happening) as a benefit for the sanctuary and the neighboring community. Help make this your gathering by letting us know where your interests are and how you would like to plug your energy into the mix.

Plenty of tenting areas are being prepared by faeries for camping on Camp Hill as well as more secluded permaculturely friendly areas on the land. The RV parking is also available for persuns wishing to camp nearer the road. Food and water will be provided by the sanctuary with vegetarian meals prepared and served by volunteer attendees. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions, allergies or other health concerns or with special needs we should know about.

*** To help cover the costs for this years event a suggested donation of 35/day per persun per day is requested - more if you can less if you cant; no one turned away for lack of funds. This year as in the past there will be also be study/actualization spaces for those seeking independent explorations.

Carpooling is also helpful so let someone know if you have extra room for sharing space with other travelers.

It is also proven helpful for visitors to have a persunal intention declared for themselves lending definition and structure to their time in space in the sanctuary during the gathering. Intentions can be general or specific but should allow for open-ended possibilities. Past experiences on the land indicate that in offering such a devotional pledge - such an act lends definition and measure to your experience and the ways in which we may better serve one another.

The Wolf Creek Sanctuary is hosting two new gatherings this year, the Free Activist Witchcamp 2008 (FAWC) and the Permaculture & Sustainable Skillshare (the PASS).

We are so pleased to announce that this year's camp will be held at Wolf Creek Radical Faeries Sanctuary in Oregon,July 20-26. Immediately following camp is a permaculture and sustainable skills share-- read below for more details.

Every moon cycle, every sun cycle, every cycle of life there is death, compost, rot. With each cycle new dreams are born as the old decompose, re-integrating into the earth. We embrace these spiraling cycles, and work them through our bodies as pentacles, ever-turning, gaining momentum with the earth from night round until morning, from winter to spring to harvest. We turn with these cycles; from desire, to surrender, surrender to transformation, transformation to solidarity, solidarity to manifestation, and integrate them into our work as we step out further into the world...

We come together as allies, grounded with our love for the earth, who share the desire to create a shift.

We work magic to transform loss, fear, despair, powerlessness,hopelessness that has become so present in our world, into abundance,safety, love, sustainable community and interdependence.
Reclaiming WitchCamps are intensive retreats for the study of magic and ritual for all levels of experience. We come to learn and practice these skills, working with the elements of nature, music, movement, and art, group process and shared decision making, and the mythological and historical framework of the Goddess Tradition. Throughout the week we will learn and enrich our magical skills through daily paths, affinity groups,optional offerings, and community rituals.

o Paths take place for several hours each day and offer the chance to more deeply explore the theme of camp, how to apply the tools of magical transformation to personal healing and empowerment, healing issues surrounding leadership and power, or taking the craft out into the world (through magical activism, by creating public rituals, in ongoing groups, etc.). Paths are led by Reclaiming Teachers and Community Members selected in advance by the Organizing cell. This years teaching team includes: Jeffery Alphonsus Mooney, Laura Maples,Riyanna, Jude Elf,Thursday, Scarecrow, Mel, Bree, Heather.
o Optional Offerings are a time for anyone in the community to share a skill or project. If you have an optional offering, come to camp prepared and sign up when you arrive.
o Affinity groups are a time and place to connect with others and give and receive support. Affinity groups will form at the beginning of camp.
o Camp rituals engage the whole camp in the magic of ecstatic ritual grounded in the theme. Together we'll stir the cauldron, and step into the transformation.

Well great circle was nothing short of Spectacular.

after hearing the opening ritual on the first day (by phone and sitting on the conference call for the first day... I crammed the car full of stuff I wanted to take to wolf creek and was on the road by 7PM, 2 cups of coffee (More than I drink the rest of the year) and about 7.5 hours later... I was watching the sunrise at the fire pit in a magical sort of low laying fog at wolfcreek.

GreatCircle tends to bring the full range of emotion in most cases... and this one was No different in that regard. but the level of work that was accomplished was Very Impressive and it seemed like personal attacks were at an all time low.

Most of this was due to our incredible facilitator Brush. What A Guy!
thank you so much brush for the healings you brought to us... and all the work we got done.

there was some over reaching things that came to me as we worked... there were a few things that seemed pretty Unanimous ...

1 that Nomenus IS a Gay Men’s Church.

2 that return to Subject/Subject consciousness is a core value that needs resuscitation.

3 that although we are NON Higherarcal in Nature. that we do have a structure in place that can handle almost any conflict or project... if we use the structure.
starting with personal responsibility for our own boundaries and conflicts. (I can expand on this more if people are interested.)

4 that although we all agreed (almost unanimously) that M4M Space is NOT outdated and unnecessary, that in fact it is a primary purpose of the sanctuary and given that (by almost unanimous agreement again... that there is room on the land for our Friends. even those of opposite gender or those somewhere in the middle...
that there is a place for ALL that, on the land throughout the year at various times.

New officers were concensed , all from the younger membership and they seem to be very much in line with the new vision of what has been worked out for the land as well as our core values, committed to seeing The Church of Nomenus Wolf Creek Sanctuary ... Not only respect male4male space... but making the land accessible to our Friends as well. a problematic balence ... but I have faith that it IS in the works, and that all who are sensitive to this issue will find some peace and satisfaction in the work done toward this.

5 All things can be worked out in HeartCircles... and that they could solve ALOT of conflicts before they become factionist if we would remember to make use of them. call them when they are NOT ‘Needed’ and maybe people would learn the that they are not boring places to be avoided... but a place to KNOW people on a much accelerated process.

we have also seen in GC that ‘grievance’ You Know where one or more faeries treat you with less than Subject?Subject consciousness, should find mediation and facilitation up the chain of escalation.
meaning that if you have a conflict with someone you try to work it out with them... then if that does not work you find peers to advocate for you... or stand with you when you confront those who have ‘done you wrong’... if that does not work a heartcircle Fish Bowl maybe the answer ... and in the case of Nomenus business, the same model applies with COTL COCO and GreatCircle being the chain of appeal.
this is the way Faes work things out.

one of the things that came out of GC this time... is DAMN it takes alot of energy and WORK to sit through it and DO THE WORK. that sometimes it is Tedious to let a Group Brain Trust, find the best solutions it can... some times it takes compromise... and some time it takes Standing aside to trust the larger body of thinking in some cases...

but the Satisfaction is in Facing the Dragon and DOING the WORK.
when it is over you have this since of connection and satisfaction... and a feeling that you are connected with something even greater than you thought.

the experiment is alive and well... this great Circle was Really Great!

hope more of you will come and participate in the process. taking the time to sit and observe and learn how it is done before you cast stones.

getting to the crux of fae youth/elder visionary seeing, re: women on our lands

This is an excerpt of an exchange i'm having with a certain elder in our community. i thought i'd share it here with an invite to add to my (and your?) consciousness on this topic. Feel free to take this and post it on other faerie communal sites/boards!

i have to say that while i find myself on the fence on this topic, i am in agreement with you and the other elders whom have been taking the stand your are speaking of. Having said that, i see that the youth that you all have collectivley held on your shoulders (i.e. after, what, more than 20 years of fae community) are now only trying to take fae sensibility into places that their desires are going. New directions like becoming inclusive of women; and that those new directions make sense in today's realities as these youth feel them.

Even tho they are missing the polytricks of a lot of this, i think (i.e. where their approach has become "black and white" or "either/or").

Still, my own seeing is that the way in which this is happening sounds a lot like the political police (i.e. today's version of COINTELPRO) are influencing the nastier parts of how this vision wants to be implemented; i.e. as "each side" seemingly remains incapable of bridging between (and empathizing with) each others' positions. [Note: What the contexts of this seemingly impossible gap are, are perhaps many even tho i think they can all 'boil down to' one prevalent phenomenon, the one doing with "the generation gap"--which in itself is an artificially-promoted gap led by the political police both overtly and covertly]

Where our oft-spoken empathy *should* bring ecstatic room (much room) for dissent and grey area seeing, in actuality we are experiencing the superficiality of those claims and desires that have not been able to be practiced in such a way where they can be pivotal when *it truly counts*.

As far as faggot-centered decision-making on this? Well, a lot of the young generation are in on this; they are the leaders as far as i can tell; sooo, that means, FAGGOTS ARE making these decisions, divisive as they are, apparently.

i know my own experience in the context of faggots wanting women on the land; in the initial phases of women being invited, they become *more equal* than common faggot males like myself. So that's certainly an interesting phenomenon. Our need for sanctuary is being relegated to the sidelines as womenfolk are recruited (right word?) into the creation of something more dynamic (ultimately) than earlier renditions of faggotry and faggot community.

So it's the transition that i think we ought to cast our magick upon, my friend.

But of course, we are dealing with such in the context of more than 30 years of political police/Rollback efforts to divide our generations from each other (and not to mention the ramifications and reflections of oppressed faggot elder sensibilities now judged without empathy and in the most alienating ways; i.e. the prevalence of the phenomenon called "objectification" of each other amongst the elder portion of faggots, and today's safer approaches where "objectification" has to be evolved from in the younger generations' desires).

Some Radical suggestions for SGRF 2008

Some VERY RADICAL suggestions for this summer’s gathering, drawn from my 25 years of experience. Order of suggestions is not important, they are to be taken as a whole. Note: I use both meanings of radical here: “Highly different from the norm”, and “getting to the root of”.

Remember, a gathering is not a festival, a party or an extension of your social/cultural life in the city.

Remember, the woods--rather than the city--were INTENTIONALLY chosen as the local of the gathering.

Remember, while you may have friends at a gathering, a gathering is not a “hang out with friends” event.

Actively seek to connect with the Earth: both physically and spiritually.

Actively seek to connect with yourself. Be willing to grow: to examine and explore parts of you that you have locked away.

Consider that one beautiful way of learning to connect with others as equal to yourself, is to connect with people who only have a slight variation from you. You can relate so fully and so easily because of this. You can explore yourself deeper, because the other attendess are loving mirrors FOR you. Some people call this Resonance Magick: one of several Equally Valid ways of being community.

Be present at the gathering: your job, your life back at home is not you. In socializing with others, remember there are plenty of things to talk about that do not include those things.

Realize that you are YOU! You don’t need to live up to anybody else’s expectations.

Realize that other people are OTHER people. They don’t need to live up to your expectations.

Accept the Radical idea that you can be very different from someone else and still celebrate who they are.

Let other people get to know you. Get to know other people.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable in the presence of others.

Allow others to be vulnerable in your presence.

Think “Community”. Think “Tribe”. Be highly motivated towards helping CREATE earth-centered, Bonded Spiritual Community: the thing that put Radical Faeries on the “Awareness Map” in the beginning.

Realize that a gathering is NOT an orchestrated schedule of events, meant to keep you entertained. You are very much a part of the DYNAMIC nature of the gathering: you contribute to what happens there. You contribute to the the unfolding nature of the gathering--something that can not be known before hand.

Remember, even in our entertainment of each other, we are being community.

Actively participate in the circles and rituals that the community dynamically creates. If you sit on the side lines, then you miss one of the major purposes of the gathering: the creation of a Bonded Community. Not only that, you will be sorely missed by that bonded community.

Allow yourself to be nurtured. In heart circle, let your “tribe of companions” love you, even if you have never really been loved before; believe me, they understand far more than you realize about what it’s like feeling unloved.

Allow yourself to be loved and nurtured, outside of heart circle!

While sex often occurs at a gathering, don’t see the gathering as “a place to score”. Set aside--for the time of the gathering--the dominate culture’s concept of dating. Learn to see the other gathering attendees as complete beings: body, mind, heart, and spirit.

Realize that all of the people at the gathering are wounded in some way, and in need of healing. Be willing to be a part of the healing. Be willing to be healed.

Spontaneously create music with the other attendees. Types of instruments to use are up to you: drums are great instruments, and they are not the only ones in existence; humans created musical instruments thousands of years ago.

Dance to the music that is collectively--and dynamically--created.

Leave your pre-recorded music at home! One person’s “to die for” music is another person’s nightmare. It has been said that then generation span of the various music styles is only 3 to 4 years; what does that say when the age span of a gathering is 60 or more years? If people “tune out” because the music being played doesn’t resonate with them, then community won’t be able to form. The original gathering calls explicitly told people not to bring music from the “outside” into our sacred realm. In looking through the window I have to the past, I see that bonded community started falling apart when pre-recorded music was allowed in.

Look forward to a most beautiful and very rewarding Spiritual Journey through self and through community. Be prepared to leave the gathering knowing that your companions with hold you in their hearts forever: you won’t be saying goodbye, you will be saying “see you soon, my love”.

If the gathering experience envisioned by these suggestions is not at all appealing to you, then consider staying at home; let those who really DO want a life-transforming experience, have one. The reality, pictured by these suggestions was the core--the soul--of the early gatherings . . . . lost,, but perhaps, not forever.

Am I a dreamer? Yes! Am I the only one? . . . . . Oh, I really hope not. Please tell me that you have this dream as well.

Gathering Krunch

Is there any way I can petition for the "Spiritual Gathering for Radical Faeries( w/penises)" to be at least a full week after "The Dance ov All Nations" next year.
Once again it is back to back with this ceremony and ov all times we should have a bit more space between these gatherings. I have mentioned it to several faeries and WC caretakers last year and am at a loss on how to make this shift.

I met both of these strong empaths at the Wolf Creek Beltane Gathering; and in regards to Earthen Ribbon, even afterward: we rode to Seattle together.

Wolf Creek Permaculture Gathering Organizers call!

Hey fellow Earth Healers!

We're putting together a Permaculture and Sustainable Skillshare gathering, a container to
share permaculture knowledge and sustainable skills, do hands on projects, and create a
permaculture design for the Wolf Creek Radical Faerie Sanctuary.

The dates will be from July 27th - August 3rd, finishing up at Lammas and celebrating our harvest.
This gathering will follow the Free Activist Witchcamp 2008 at the Sanctuary, July 20th - 26th.

If you are looking for the opportunity to help create and coordinate this permaculture experience, please contact me. The initial structure looks like this, and may possibly align with a permaculture puppet show.

We're asking $70-$150, more if you can, less if you can't, no one turned away for lack of
funds. The $10 per person/per day meets food and utility costs for the Sanctuary.

Looking for folks interested in helping make the land more accessible to those with mobility issues.

I'm gonna be heading a work project starting June 9th thru the 13th and am looking for any willing participants. I will be moving around the sanctuary making as many of the spaces more accessible for people with mobility issues. This will include building ramps, installing handrails (would be nice if they could be a combo of utility and artistry but time and people power will dictate how pretty things look), creating a wheel chair accessible path to Beelzebub shitter, installing support assistance bars where needed (shitters, shower areas). Anything else we can do to make the sanctuary more accommodating for those of us with special mobility issues. This is only the beginning.

I have been living with a person with a chronic life long disability for the last 13 years. There are so many challenges for a person who lives with a chronic illness or disability. Mobility is a major common theme. Through my years of being a primary care giver I've learned the importance of my partner being as "independent" as possible. Independence of mobility allows a person with disability to live their life closer to the way those of us without mobility issues live. This in turn allows a person with disability to be less defined by their specific illness or disability. People don't want to be defined by what they can't do but rather what they can do.

Imagine if every time you wanted water or food, you had to ask someone to get it for you. You need to take a shit and can't get yourself to the shitter by yourself. I know from experience how exhausting and disempowering this can be for one's self esteem.

As a primary caregiver, I have learned that a major part of caring for someone with mobility issues is allowing them to do for themselves. This involves constantly pushing the limits on what one can or can't do. With some simple installations of assistance devices (mainly rails, ramps, clearances, wider steps, door openings, etc) we are offering our loved ones a chance to do for themselves. Some may still need assistance in certain situations and there will always be someone there to help, but we need to allow people to try and do for themselves.

To not be defined by ones inability, it is essential to know one's possibility. To know what is possible, one needs to try.

I am offering everyone and anyone interested ( whether you have a mobility issue, disability, chronic illness, or none of the above) to come and join me in making Wolf Creek Sanctuary a place more accessible to more people. This can involve physical labor, ideas, questions, support of any kind.

Again, I plan on arriving after the closing circle for Naraya and will be working around the land until the 13th or the 14th. And again, this is just the beginning. Hopefully with some work done making our sanctuary more accessible will come a better understanding of what is truly needed to make Wolf Creek a sanctuary to all people regardless of the physical form they appear to be in.

Spiritual Gathering for Radical Faeries
(the Summer Men’s Gathering)

The Spiritual Gathering for Radical Faeries is often defined by its limitations. Since its first incarnation it has been open to gay men resonating with the words “spiritual”, “gathering”, “radical” and “faeries”. If you are not a gay man, we hope that you will excuse receiving this invitation and we ask your understanding that we are trying to send this to everyone who identities as a gay man, and who may wish to attend the gathering.

Actually the success of these gatherings dating from 1979 can be seen in the explosion of faerie events for all, especially at the Sanctuary in Wolf Creek that was purchased to have our own property on which to hold the Spiritual Gatherings for Radical Faeries. The SGRF (Wolf Creek Summer Men's Gathering) will happen this year from Friday the 13th of June through the eve of the Summer Solstice, June 20th. It will be followed immediately by a Solstice Celebration open to all, and then by the Nomenus Great Circle, the semi-annual business meeting for the Church of Nomenus, from Sunday, June 22nd through Tuesday, June 24th.

Spiritual Gathering for Radical Faeries 2008 presents a Return to Magick

A Return to the indefinable Energy that bonds us as Faeries. This practice, born in 1979, when it was not known who would feel called to a “Spiritual Gathering for Radical Faeries”, sparked the tradition of gay men gathering to create an Intentional Community to explore and re-create our visions, dreams, his-stories, and beings in a loving, supportive, heart centered space.

A return to Magick. We commune to discover and share our innate gifts and energies, imbuing all of our actions with resonance, grace, generosity, and a connection to the divine spirit within each of us. We congregate in ritual to raise sacred energy for the healing of ourselves and the Earth. We meditate in solitary calm, freeing ourselves of the strictures that impede our true beings.

A return to Radical. Our instinctual essence is radical. It is radical for men to relate to one another in loving, non-competitive ways. It is radical for men to wear skirts and hold one another in embrace. It is radical to celebrate our erections, both priapic and from labors. It is radical to gather in kindred spirit, making decisions on the basis of consensus. It is radical to give everyone the space to give voice without judgment.

A return to Fabulousness. The loving radiance that shines from each of us as we celebrate one another. Dressing for dinner, the fabulous No-Talent show, the mostly animal (I mean annual) Miss Wolf Creek pageant. The spontaneous performances and the enraptured participatory audiences that experience them. The sweet release of a breath held too long while hiding our true selves in the outside world.

A return to Exploration. Our intentional community gives us the freedom and space to move outside our usual patterns and truly explore what it means to be a radical faerie. To open to the New: new people, new ideas, new feelings, new ways of being, new ways to express ourselves, new behaviors. To reclaim the childlike wonder that lies dormant within us.

A return to Re-creation. We lavishly bestow upon ourselves the energy, the time and the space to nurture and actualize our evolution and creation.

A return to Sex. Putting the sensual back into consensual. We celebrate our human drive to procreate by our shared physical delight in one another, and by our progeneration of our divine faerie selves within our Gathering and within each of us in our travels afterward. A return to Freedom from Sexual Oppression, where each touch and desire is by mutual consent, and sexual expression protects and nurtures each himself and each other.

A return to Community. We gather in our Faerie village, joyously engaged in the everyday rituals of village life. We collectively cook communal meals, ensuring that individual dietary needs are met. Our generous loving energy assures equanimity in washing dishes, cleanup, and the myriad of tasks needed to support our village.

A return to Heart. From the daily morning Heart Circle through all of the day's activities, we share ourselves from the very center of our being. We uphold the principle that all of our communication is heart engaged so that every exchange between us nurtures both our hearts.

A return to Ritual. Assembling ourselves in a community determined space, time, and manner to raise group spiritual energy and have it move through/for/within us, celebrating our divine connections.

A return to Ourselves. What special feelings, thoughts, ideals, discussions, heart space, ways of being can we access only in Male Space? How do we relate to others not at or unable to attend the SGRF? How are the definitions of “men” and “gay” evolving? Does language itself limit our ability to share our identities and experiences? What happens to us after the SGRF?

What to bring:
A tent – the weather is perfect for outdoor sleeping. Special Needs (indoor) housing is available, but it quite limited in quantity. If you need this accommodation, please let the SGRF focalizers know as soon as possible. There are a limited number of tents available at the Land, if you would like to use one, please let us know. Lack of proper planning does not constitute Special Needs – showing up with nothing and/or no arrangements to take care of your sleeping space needs does not guarantee you a space.

For your tent – a tarp, a rainflap (yes, it does rain in June, although not reliably), ribbons, signs, a sling – something to make it unmistakably yours.

Bedding – sleeping bags, air mattresses, foam, pillows, blankets; the limited quantities of these on hand at the Sanctuary will be needed for Special Needs housing.

Personal care things – shampoo, conditioner, razor, toothbrush, towel, sunscreen, moisturizer, toothpaste, condoms, lube, handcuffs, insect repellent, personal sexual devices, teddy bears, makeup, nail polish, etc. We know that you will bring only bio-degradable and/or earth friendly products.

Clothes and other things to wear and share– Days are warm, nights can be cool. Bring appropriate footwear if you want to hike in the hills AND appear as a contestant in the Miss Wolf Creek pageant. The drag closet is available to fill in some missing items, but chances are that there won’t be a pair of ruby slippers in size 11 ½ EEE waiting for you here. Ditto for a pair of hiking boots in size 10 D. And that size 20 cerise taffeta evening gown hanging in your closet at home would look fabulous at dinner one night.

A number for the No Towel Lint show. Drums for the drumming circle, maracas, tambourines, guitars, sweet voices for singing in harmony.

Boundless Good Energy – We know we don’t have to remind you about this. Caring, Support, Generosity, Sharing, Enthusiasm, Goodwill, and a host of other positive attitudes too numerous to list are the essence of Faerie existence. We gather to celebrate them with one another.

The small-as-we-can-possibly-make-it list of things you really can’t bring:

Your pet – sorry, but there are already caretaker familiars in residence here. New animals upset the balance and have the distinct possibility of creating problems. Please leave your familiars at home.

City attitude and expectations for City services: We hold gatherings in a rural remote area so that we can commune with Nature and each other. There is lousy cell phone reception here (Hey, it’s in the mountains!). Nomenus has only dial-up access to the Net, and that is used for business purposes. Although Grants Pass is only 25 miles away, do you really want to drive there for beer or a burger? The Wolf Creek General Store and the Circle of Wolves can supply your tobacco and beer/wine needs. Actually the Circle of Wolves, especially Nancy, Karen, and Debbie, are our special friends and loooooove visitors from the Sanctuary. They have an exciting array of good wines and beers, plus great outfits, frou-frou, and bric-a-brac.

How long a drive from Sacramento to Wolf Creek?

Hey, Wish here.... have got thursday off from work, and could get one or two more maybe, but need to know how long the drive would be to see if I could swing it. I think I have a tent and really need to reconnect with some faerie magik and community.
If anyone knows the address of the gas station just in town, or a mile marker number for the exit, I could mapquest it and see if I could make this happen.

Last minute bay area ride to the land?

Hello, my name is Sam and I roommates with Harmony of this account. I love her and I think she loves me... though I am not actually her. We hang out and talk about how to be nice to mean people even when they don't deserve it... and also about making music which we both like to do.

We had been planning on going up together but due to last minute changes, I have been last minute stranded in Oakland. So if you have any room in your vehicle I'd love to hitch a ride. A few kind souls are looking for a ride for me, but I'm a little nervous it won't work for whatever reason... so I'm posting here!!!

Ritual Dance Magick!

Vision: To create an OFFERING through ritual dance for the Walpurgisnacht Fire.

To experiment in Ritual Dance and provoke ourselves into a deeper connection with each other, the earth and our spirit.

To collectively harvest and contain energies of the earth body and sky…the fire the spirit the directions and OUR community to weave a story and hold our hearts and bodies as OFFERING.

To experiment with Butoh, with heart, with our vulnerability and our FIERCENESS! Our sillyness and power our desire and our masks.

GOAL: To hold ritual together for 2-3 hoursTUES and WED and WED NIGHT (ritual) (not a 3 hour offering..unless we get frisky)
This is an ideal…but we need to be flexible to dance.
All and any ideas welcome.

Rideshare: Bay Area to Portland to Wolf Creek, back to Bay Area - Posting for Paddy

Please join me for any portion of this journey, to share company and hopefully some gas $. I have a few stops on my trip that ultimately is to go from the bay, to Portland, Wolf Creek, and back to the bay. Some of the dates are flexible, so please call if any of this sounds close to right for you.

Saturday April 26 leaving in the am from North Bay to Fort Bragg/Mendocino.
Later that day head up to the land at Wolf Creek and stay the night there.
Sunday 27th, early rise and drive to Portland.
Monday 28th return to Wolf Creek ! (probably early afternoon)

Drive back to the East Bay on Friday, May 2nd.

Oh, and there's a small chance that we will be taking a baby goat all the way from the bay to Portland. This is not confirmed, but would be a dream come true. So it may be necessary for you to love baby goats.

In exchange for a ride i would be willing to trade gas money and some potentially interesting conversation. My would have been a ride changed plans. Things to bring to a gathering...

Yay! Well I am happy to be headed to greener pastures (moo) for Spring Gathering in TN and it got me thinking about what people bring to gatherings wherever you may call home.. Both in a physical sense and a spiritual sense. While a tent, flashlight, water bottle, towels and a comfy sleeping bag is handy for any SMS gathering; there are also other things to think about adding to a pre-gathering checklist. I always seem to post something here about "intention" and things like that, but this time I wanted to post about something that is just as important for having a healthy, safe and fabulous gathering.

When 400 people from all over the world gather together in the woods and spend a week or so cooking, cleaning, shitting , making ritual, dancing, drugging, not drugging, drinking tea, teabagging, having sex and all that other stuff we do..(shhh gotta keep some of it secret!!!) there is always the reality that people will come in contact with bugs, viruses, sexually transmitted illnesses (STI's) which have an effect on the well being of each of us individually and collectively.

So I'm want to ask people a simple question to consider, whether you are headed to SMS or Wolf Creek or Wherever the winds may take you..

When was the last time you were tested for HIV or STI's?

Every six months is a recommended period of time for those who are sexually active, and it's good to at least know one's status once a year. I know that talking about this stuff is sorta like herding cats with faeries at times, everyone has their own views on HIV, transmission and personal risk and safety, but I wanted to put the thought bubble out there to the universe that we are not only responsible for our own health and well being, but that our community survival is also at stake. I'd like to go to a gathering where I don't find out that five more of my friends sero-converted due to either not knowing other peoples status or simply not wanting to know..

I'll love you either way poz, negative or not sure, I guess I thought that suggesting that peeps getting tested before gathering time might bring a little more awareness and care to our lovely reality we create in the woods. The reality is that yes, while some people with HIV are living longer and "surviving" with wonderful side effects, it ain't no picnic I assure you. I'm a short term survivor of 12 years with HIV. Got gas? Yes, hon, I do!

I have seen the statistic that up to 1/4th of all people that are HIV positive may not know they are carrying the virus. As I type this out, I feel like it's 1992 and I'll be branded a heretic of sorts for asking people to get tested, it's not very "faerie", but anyways I just want people to be informed and empowered in the choices they make..

In life and at gatherings there are many people who continue to insist on remaining blissfully unaware of their status. I always find the best policy is DO ask, DO tell, not be ashamed either way and encourage others to do the same. There was a time when I let fear get in the way of disclosure and was blissfully unaware... It took me being placed in a situation where I potentially infected someone and dealing with the guilt and shame of that experience to become more aware of things and more self loving...

So maybe a combination of testing before and talking with your faerie dance partner for the evening, week or life during your time in the woods is something to add to your gathering list...

I'm just sayin'.....
